I have never done physical damage to a PC.

Why does watermelon taste so much better at 3am?

I've done it both intentionally and by accident... try pulling out an expansion card while the machine is still on... zap.

it depends on what processor you have...If an Intel processor goes above 75C it starts to throttle

If your talking cold then I think that your wrong when it comes to the processor.
celsius
They have this computers processor running at -196 degrees celsius.

im going off memory here there is a point where if the electronic itself gets to a certain temp it wont work, i dont remember the exact number but im pretty sure its before -200c

And the chip itself they didnt have a temperature listed for just the heatsink which is obviously cooler then the chip as it is housing the liquid nitrogen

Electrolytic capacitors start to freeze around -40C, once they freeze things won't work right.  The transistors would be fine, resistors would start changing resistance when you get close to absolute zero.

My problem is most likely a motherboard problem, last time I had a similar problem, I needed to reset the bios

If it's not worth his time to write correctly then it's not worth our time to try to read it. It looked like total gibberish to me.

OK, so, my antivirus is doing something to trigger the freezing, because whenever it freezes I've been noticing like the AV is trying to do a popup of some kind. Like, to say that it's updated or has completed a scan. But I was having similar problems with AVG on this same computer but the previous install. now I'm using nod32 on a relatively fresh install and getting the same problem. Any advice?
