I just found out that I had a series on an external hard drive that I thought I deleted when I reinstalled Utorrent. I redownloaded it already so now I have 2 copies.

LOL, happened to me many times, but for OSTs. And somehow everytime I try to reseed a torrent it usually does not hash 100% so I have to download parts of it again, which is a real pain in the ass sometimes.

No, this was a 2.3GB torrent. That really didn't help my ratio either. =/

2,3GB is nothing. I've downloaded even some 10GB+ torrents when I forgot I had downloaded it already and most likely I still haven't watched any of them. I also often download one version, then before I even watch it I find a better version and download it etc. Increasing your "downloaded" stat is more fun than endlessly increasing your ratio anyway :D

Well, it's not really; like I described in another thread even on the current max exchange rate and seeding 10 bonus torrents it's adding at most another extra 8-9kBps to your upload speed. So it's really for poor losers like me who have crappy 35kBps up to keep my ratio acceptable because we have time to burn micromanaging bonus torrents -_-

use my internet and upload at 550kb per second and get your ratio back up nice and quick lol

My max upload that I have ever gotten was 660Kb/s, but that was for 2 minutes.

I barley scrape by with my ratio most of the time, kinda like this.

I would do that if I could get ahold of an old computer at my dads office. (Preferably his old sever) But 24 7 seeding is too much stress on a laptop.

No i dont drive an 18 wheeler i drive a 95 dodge ram 79 bronco 99 chrysler concorde and im gonna be getting a nice new audi TT early next year

Same here, the bonus just makes it a bit easier to maintain ratio =) Well, when you're a n00b like me anyway. Once you hit 100GB up it hardly makes a difference.

I'm using a second-hand P3 laptop for my torrentbox, still in good condition too.
