They're supposed to take 5mL of your blood, but it looks like they're taking 50mL...

5mL? When I did mine they drew a whole needleful (or should that be syringeful?). I'm not good at volume estimation but I'm pretty damn sure that's a hell lot more than 5mL...

I had the same problem, every time I go the guy just takes blood from me claiming I need it done and then I never get a reason why. Tis why I'm changing doctors. Never go so Dr. Acula.

We had a blood drive at work in December so I let the vampires have their way with me then. Last time I tried to donate was in High school, the tech was a hack and poked the vein but didn't get the needle in so they didn't get any that day.

I don't have a problem with getting the big one stuck in the arm, but that damn razor in the finger, after which they squeeze until about 5 ml have come out, is a real pain in the ass. I type all day, so for me it actually does present problems for going about normal activities.

the most blood I ever gave was to a wall that I punched through. There were lots of sharp things inside. I eventually passed out after a while. Gotta love almost dying.

since if memory serves a cc = ml a larger syringe thats not huge would be about 5cc maybe 10cc (note 30cc = 1 ounce 33.suttin ounces in a liter 32 in a quart) and alot of the times they will do a couple vials full of blood depending on the tests
i think last time i went i got about an ounce of blood taken

but i HAVE to watch them stab me in the arm and take the blood i cant look away and wince like some people have to ide like vomit if i did
