I loaned one of the Chiefs from my ship my 4e D&D books yesterday. Realized about 20min later I was going to start trying to write a campaign. Oh well, ended up watching anime, reading and sleeping instead.


I also need to pick back up on writing my book. Preview:

  It was dark. And it was stormy. Terribly cliché opening for a story, but it suits the nature of the characters to a T. Speaking of Tea... there she is now, first her head, surmounted by her long white hair, peaking around the corner, her red eyes (solid and lacking any whites or pupils) aglow. Next comes the rest of her short...
  “I'm not short, I'm petite!”
  Sorry?
  “You said I was short, I'm not, I'm petite!”
  ...It's the same thing...
  “But petite sounds cuter.”
  ...Very well. Next comes the rest of her petite body, so pale she seems to almost glow in the dark. Her barely formed bre...
  Wait... why are you naked?
  “I thought you were the narrator. You tell me.”
  I'm stuck in third person limited.
“Oh. Um. Yeah. Here,” Tea scrunches her face up for a second, “that should do it, now you can read my mind. Whilst you tell everyone what happened I'm gonna go fix this little wardrobe malfunction. See ya!”
She starts to scamper off between some buildings but she stops and turns back towards the empty street.

Lots of writers write every day, even if it turns out to be crap at least you stay in practice.  You won't get anywhere only writing something once a month.

ehh, not necessarily, sometimes a good break can help ease stress and allow the writer to come up with new and good ideas rather then ones that may seem forced
