I got me a new tattoo last night. It is freaking sweet. I only got about half done with it though. I'll have to post pics here in a bit.

It's a sugar skull on the front of my right thigh just above the knee. It's huge. Here it is.

We are going to leave the swirly things the same color as my skin and shade around them. The bone bow and some light blue are going to be colored in and a few other places. We got pretty far though.

I got it for my daughter who has to have anything and everything that has a skull or is pirate related. She is on her third year running pirate costume for Halloween. My other daughter asked for a kitty girl for the tattoo I get for her.

The funny thing is that I told my artist I just wanted to do something small. When I went in with my husband he pulled this out and I was like sweet. Especially because he worked me a fabulous deal ($150). I got to cover up the scars on my leg too, which is super awesome. No more "How did you get those" questions, thank goodness.

i have three scars dead in my face surounding my right eye, one above one under and one on the right side totaling to 7 stiches, but i rarly get asked about them, guess their so obviouse that people feel akward askin about them

Yes. I love wearing shorts and skirts. Most of my ink gets plenty of exposure. The only one that doesn't is the one on my back since I don't wear midriff bearing shirts.
