Wine is perfect for me when drinking alone. So is mead.

Although I haven't had any for a few months now (again, I only drink home made mead).
The only thing I dislike about drinking is people who can't hold their liquor. Seriously, my classmate's got a strawberry vodka flavored graffiti on his bedroom wall from a party 3 weeks ago. Disgusting... Know your limits and drink accordingly. In my case, I can only drink pure vodka if I start with it. Makes me feel uncomfortable if I mix it with anything... Other than that I have no limitations besides my natural "your f*ing wasted" sense. When that is active, I stop drinking.
Oh and I don't actually make any of this "home made" drinks, all are usually courtesy of friends, acquaintances and family. And the best drinking parties happen at my friends "zidanica" (a small house, near a vineyard, used for storing and making wine among other things). His grandfather once bet us that we're too weak to drink 100 liters of wine over a weekend. There was 14 of us, and we barely made it. Each of us got a bottle of that years finest "cviček" for a prize.

Please do note that I probably never got over 4 liters that weekend, some of my other friends are real psychos and can drink twice as more... If we lost the bet, we'd have to clean wine crystals from barrels that year, not an easy task.
