I was standing in line to order my lunch at the university cafeteria today, just like every day.  The line was all the way out the door, and I was standing right under the arch of the doorway, when I turn around an unexpectedly see the Joker running right at me!  Startled, I barely managed to jump out of the way!  He tossed a card from a deck of cards at me, and continued running.  Shortly after, Batman came tearing through chasing after him!

Besides I for one prefer the smell of cigarettes instead of sweat and vomit...

But in those kinds of bars you usually get the maximum effect of all three at once plus the added bonus of old spilled beer.

The smell of sweat may not be pleasant but it doesn't give me headaches.  I don't think there's been any studies on the dangers of second hand BO.

As a light smoker, I can understand most bans. Restaurants? Sure. I hate smoking around me while I'm eating and I'm a smoker. Public places? Eh, not so sure. If it's outside, and they have designated areas, why not?

But the thing that gets me the most is... BARS. I want to fucking smoke in a bar! I'm going there to indulge my vices and relax as with everyone else. If a bar wants to be a smoke free, then leave that choice up to them. I almost feel like Dennis Leary when he makes that speech from Demolition man...

and as a non-smoker, I completely disagree with the smoking ban. I think it's bullshit how businesses can be told to run themselves. As long as smoking is legal it should be allowed. Now, I would not be apposed to a smoking tax and business who go non-smoking are exempt from said tax.

Does anyone know a good program for getting a DVD rip to MKV with soft subs? I've only been using Handbrake in the past and it only does hard subs, but I'm trying to do a dual audio release so I need soft subs.
