I feel I must clarify that my boss contacted me at that time, no joke.
He was supposed to tell me sometime during the weekend but he had forgotten. I of course figured that I wasn't going to work and stayed up

He didn't have a choice. The other employees are useless if not supervised

To downplay the drama I wasn't really mad as I get paid quite good but nowadays only by the hour.
