Rap stopped being good in the 90s.

Actually it's gotten better recently, hated early 2000's though so it may just be that it's better than that crap

Rap is a dying breed these days, as is metal. not many GOOD metal bands have really rocked the foundation of the metal world recently. i dont like most of these modern screamo or wanna-be metal bands that have recently appeared in our music markets. What the hell?

I liked rap in the 90's when everything was different. You had Dr. Dre's the "Chronic", Onyx, SSC, NbN, Snoop, LLcJ, Ice Cube etc...

Since 00-01, everything sounds the same. Nobody has their own style anymore. Now Rap is produced for the kiddies. The 13-14 year olds who watch what's left of MTV.

sadly, MTV is longer what it claims to be. It went from Music TeleVision to a bunch of REALLY shitty reality TV shows. i wish i could have seen it in its prime in the 80's.
