When we have people come and spray for bugs, it makes all the spiders come out at once. I'd rather just leave them be. There is no good way of getting rid of them around here anyways.

just be happy your not in parts of the states that get banana spiders, they are similar to the brown recluse, cause necrosis with their venom just like recluse, but are more aggressive they are the devil.

So many people would die from both of these spiders if both didnt have such small fangs compared to the size of spiders they are. So quite often their bites arent quite as potent as they could be

I think spiders are something that alot of us can live without- in our living area that is.
We had this huge garden spider here last year- he was yellow and soo big. But he didn't bother me at all because he was out in our mini-roses. And he made the prettiest webs I have ever seen.
I wasn't scared because I looked him up on the net trying to figure out what kind of spider he was as he was freaking everyone else in the house out- but it said he was harmless to humans. (could have been a she of course- who knows?)

Wow... and I thought the day I slept 15 hrs (from 6am-8pm) and woke up only because my friend called me and I was like "wtf you want its 8" he was apologizing to me that he woke me up not realizing that I had slept that long.

I called him back like 2 mins later asking if it was really 8 pm and not am (it was dark outside and I assumed it was still am) and he was laughing so hard... good times.

I did that once. I think I tried to stay up all night and wound up passing out around 8am and woke up around 10pm. Kinda sucked.

we had banana spiders outside our house in Florida. spun pretty big webs iirc

The worst spider I've seen is the Black Widow. Never been bitten by any spider, knock on wood, and hope to keep it that way.

Shit, I hate those things too. I had one black widow hiding under one of the rocks I was moving. I couldn't have missed it by more than an inch with my hand. Made me super glad I was wearing leather gloves. I tipped all the rocks over and looked at the bottom after that. The only thing worse are all the copperheads and rattlers we have around here. I live really close to the country and we go to lakes all the time. People will sit there and catch copperheads with their fishing poles all day logs.

As much as I hate all the dangerous/scary animals out here it pissed me off when just the other day someone ran over an alligator snapping turtle on purpose. It wasn't exactly the biggest one I've seen, but that was such an asshole move. It was at least a good foot across too. Some people are such assholes.

Coral Snakes down in South Texas. Used to find em all the time kickin over rocks.

Same goes on around here with snakes as well. Used to live near a snake infested creek out in the middle of nowhere, back when I was 7, and some of those rattlers or even copperheads would just come up by the house. Had to kill one once with a shovel. Hell when I was 4 I was nearly bitten by a snake, I'm not sure what kind but I know it was poisonous, when I was sleeping. I've had close encounters with those damned things. Anyways, live in the city now so I don't have to really worry about that as much anymore, just the occasional spider.

Yeah I guess it's nice I've only got spiders nowadays...and the occasional bear, but they're harmless. But I grew up in Australia, aka the land of giant deadly insects and snakes. Seriously the first house I lived at in AU the spiders were so big you could hear them walking from acrros the house, and I've been almost bitten by snakes so many times...luckily I didn't live around any crocs.

I guess I have to be a bitch when I go into work today. It seems so out of character, but fuck it. The people who work the shift before me are a bunch of lazy asses. Lazy fucks were sitting around doing nothing when I came yesterday even though the had every dish in the place dirty. Then they tried to tell me that they didn't get the chance to do some dishes. Fucking retards, I swear.

Wow, then Australia is definitely not the place I want to live. I think it is bad enough where I used to live and I don't feel like putting up with that kinda stuff anymore.
