Hey, I want gay people to exist, especially in information services. That (clearly) gay receptionist in the hotel that I was staying at was the most helpful guy ever. These people should be working at informative jobs.

Well I dunno, I don't have anything against gay people - I can't really say that I'm ok with the image of two guys tonging each other on the street, 'cause if I did, I'd be lying... I blame the surrounding environment I grew up in... It's pretty much homophobia which ever way you look at it...
I really didn't know this before, but I heard on the news this morning that the first gay pride parade is going to be held one of this days in Belgrade... They're hoping for no trouble but we'll see how it'll go.

Even though it is a super religious place to live here, we have a pretty large gay community. There is a pride parade every year around my birthday. It's pretty cool and fun to watch. My husband went with me to the club afterward and was so weirded out that we had to leave 20 minutes in. I'm bisexual, so I don't have any issues with GLBT community. I'd rather see two guys making out rather than a couple of toothless drunk rednecks any day (and yes, it is a regular occurrence out here).
