At least i could set them off anywhere I wanted to. Especially during new year 2009. nearly everyone around the block where I was staying at and along the many sidestreets were settin em off in the middle of the main Highway that ran through the city. Its funny seeing all the jeepneys and taxis whizzin by swervin to avoid them. Heck even some of the guys on the jeepneys were settin them off and tossin em as they roll by

...I cleaned up my apartment this morning and called the houseward and wanted to make an appointment when I could have the keys for the cellar so I could wash my clothing... not possible at them moment because the sink is stuck and no washing until it's repaired

You're so awfully kind! But don't worry... I do have enough bleach and other chemicals necessary for cleaning, I just don't have my own washing machine and the one in the house that can be used with appointment is defect... I really don't know what to do with my laundry now.. washing it all by hand would take weeks at least... because without the key I cannot use the tumble-dryer either... and letting it dry on the balcony is like...yeah... with all the crows raping my flowers the stuff will be even dirtier afterwards than it is now.. >_>

3,50€ /7kg which is one normal washing machine... and drying costs extra (1,50 for 15 minutes... but that crappy thing is so cold, that you'd have to dry your stuff for about 4 hours to actually get it dry)... >_>

Are the machines real old looking? If it takes 4 hours to dry laundry of average size then the machine has to be defective! O.o
