Thats insane.

Gah, the last few episodes on this copy of Full Metal Alchemist I'm watching have been taken straight from Adult Swim and they have a really annoying high pitched buzz to them. ><

(And before anyone comments on the English dub- I'm trying to do some uni work at the same time, which I can't do in Japanese)

I use to watch adult swim as I did work and other stuff, now I just listen to Japanese dub and try to understand what they are saying. So far I sometimes get close, but it is a serious work in progress, well learning Japanese that is.

Both English and Japanese

It's not that I lack English skills (vocabulary or grammar) but the dubs fly too fast for me to follow them.

Yeah I sometimes get annoyed from growing up in America, then I laugh it off and start making looking at what it would cost to move away from this country.

When we visited Florida a few years ago, my family had real trouble understanding people, they spoke WAY too fast. And English is my first language!

My sister + my mate have been to LA and New York. They loved it and prolly didn't want to come home

My parents wanted to move to the States, but they're waiting until us kids are financially independant first. Till then they're stuck in the UK

I don't know where I want to go. My mother now thinks I'm just gonna settle down in Lincoln and make a family for myself. I don't think I will. I don't want to stay in one place

When my mum was with her ex bf there was plans to move to france (sp?) and leave us kids in uk. Then after my mum split up from him her plan was to move to cyprus and either we could come along or stay in uk. I didn't like it one bit either of those plans or the thought of leaving england.....we might have crap weather but it is my home =P

My folks talked about Canada for a while. That would have been weird... the £20 to go and visit them in Stoke seems like so much money sometimes

I lived in brighton with some friends in uni there for around 6 months. Family's home is in outer london and it was like £35-40 to do a one way trip there or back to brighton. hmm, think £30ish to get national rail to london then 5 quid or something for 1 day traval card.....been ages since i've done that journey. takes fucking ages though =/
