For cultural reasons, girls and men don't phrase their sentences the same. Usually, you'll start having a good idea of a poster's sex after reading enough of his or her posts. It's, obviously, not an exact science and mostly based on intuition.

One of the people I used to talk to on the HIM forums years back turned out to be female. She sets herself as male on most things though, and acts quite masculine. But I've met her a few times irl, and would say she's definetly female. Or a good pretender

Meh, on here that's what I do, only know maybe two people on bakabt that are female(you being one of them).

I was playing street fighter and left a match where this peep was pissing me off, then the guy started messaging me and i told him "You shouldn't be mean to girls, you big meanie." which resulted in a conversation where i had him thinking i was female (Since i was playing sakura+cammy it was alot more believable i guess). By the end he start throwing insults again and told me i was a lesbo To which i replied "Thats not an insult, being a lesbo would be fun."

Bakabt has something like a 4-1 ratio of guys to girls though. So that could be one of the reasons.
