I was surprised to find recently that the one I played for years was still up... and all the old characters i played were still intact...
I was not surprised to find that the same assholes who made me want to stop going there in the first place were still there...

Nope never said they were. They are all pretty much as bad as each other. Only diff is DND your interacting with real people, sadly mostly weird people.

Some of them you just couldn't interact with at all or they would go running off to the Gods bitching.... you didn't even have to be interacting directly with them... I mean... what the hell is the mute command for if not that?

Most of my friends are weird and some would call me weird but the problem with weird people that play wargames, DND etc is that some can be very annoying and obnoxious.

I spent most of my time in school asking questions to the teacher until he could not answer anymore because I had reached the end of his knowledge. In college, that put me on the good side of many teachers because they felt I was interested in learning. In high school, it resulted in three teachers falling into depression because they felt incompetent at their job (to be fair, I was not the only one bombarding those three with question - at least six other students in the class did the same).

They threw fits too at first when I told them once I was tardy three times in a row because I watched Eden of the East in the morning...

Then I went on 'EE is like this, is like that,' then they went 'ah, yes, yes' then I knew my time was up. 

Then at lunches I lectured my midgets about the future of job market in Asia. Sadly nobody wants to take the scientific path that I want to take.

I never had a teacher complaining that I did my lab preparation in their class. Well, usually they warned me that I might fail because I didn't listen in class but when I got 85-90% at the following test, they usually shut up in shame (I had one look at me in anger once, it was awesome - I wish that to happen to everyone).

As for sleeping in class, I did that a lot with one teacher.

Her voice was way too monotonous and calm. It was a physics class on top of that (electricity and optic, viewed in the context of analytical instruments) and she did everything to make it more boring. Sometimes, rather than skipping that class when I was too tired, I went in there because I knew I would fall asleep quicker than if I went back home.

I had great physics teacher, especially in high school. But, that teacher. Oh my.

I barely passed that class because, even when I did try to listen to her, I would fall asleep. I never sleep in class!

don't think i've ever fallen asleep in class. actually always worked cuz it made time go by all that much faster (Though sleep would have been better for that...). Reason i always got into trouble was because i never did any homework =/
