Well, my link is a 2Mbit Full Duplex SHDSL connection that is only available if you have a busisness now, I got it before my ISP changed it :P
It's not much, but then again, there is no way in HELL I'm going back to asyncron DSL again...

That's actually pretty good for an Australian connection.

Anyway...

Dude I have many aussie friends that would kill for that connection right there. Most of them can't beat my 5000/1500(or when they feel generous 3000 like it is suppose to be)

ADSL2+, 1km from exchange = massive speed (would be better if i lived next door to the exchange though :P)

Yeah before we moved out into the boonies we had a lot better of a connection then we do now. I miss my 10/5 line and that was a stable speed, now I can have anywhere between a 2500/1000 up to the highest yet I've been able to clock was a 5900/3300. During the day time is when I catch the slowest speeds, I guess that is because we have too many people routing into one hub around here. I guess that is what we get for moving into the boonies where everyone has the same internet since DSL isn't affordable but faster... cable is 40/50$ a month where DSL is like 60$. So I guess it's affordable but not budgetable in our current economy for most people.

Okay time to get out of internet connection speed ranting...

I paid a few bucks extra a month to get a 25 percent increase in speed, and yeah....

Nothings changed yet. I called them up to complain and they have a 'ticket' open for it...

Is it just me or does that say you have 9kb/s upload?

Finally got changed over to Comcast business class from Sprint 3G.

With sprint I was getting around .3/.08.

After doing nearly 100GB of traffic in the first 24 hours, I'm certainly glad I didn't go with Comcast residential service and its 250GB monthly cap.

It's usually worse than this, I have no clue how the average of my ISP is higher than these results.

Never really reach those speeds as I end up capping my download/upload in uTorrent
