Sorry to rant a little, but..
I wonder where the practice to call transfer caps "bandwidth" came from.
It's really, really inaccurate. Bandwidth is the speed of the connection (technically, the width of the electromagnetic band used to transfer information, but in computing it is usually seen as bits per second instead, since that is more relevant).
What US people seems to call "bandwidth" is total data/month (usually).
It´s very much like saying "I use 600 kilo-watts per month", a usage i have seen in the US too, now that I think about it.
