It makes me wonder tho; do these people ever really experience their listed speeds on a regular basis.
I remember when I was seeding from my old T3 and I never got full speeds on DL, and getting full UL speed was a shot in the dark.

you`ll saturate your speed if you download torrents in parallel, i mean more than 1 torrent. well seeded torrents at that.

personally i'd be happy to just have an uncapped and true 4Mb/s|1Mb/s line(512KB/s|128KB/s) with all ports open.

That 1% is the fucking satellite, the ISP will probably be able to reach it if he overclocks the entire network.
Did you know Satan was supposedly gods RIGHT HAND MAN, not his left. Blows your theory out of the water now doesn't it.

Satellite is quite crappy connection - for one, the latency is very high (~200ms for geostationary satellites) and the bandwidth is not that great either (and is shared among all the clients).

Also, even if your connection is the fastest in the world, you will still be "faster than 99%", because you will be in the last percent and you cannot be faster than yourself. Also, anyone who has the same connection will not be slower than you.

Also, absolutes are not a good business strategy.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

This is from 1Gbit server and Speedtest can't show his true speed
You can buy 2Gbit servers too

That speed is from a company that rents dedicated servers. That's not his internet speed. He must use the servers as a seed box.

Still waiting to get an apartment at the university. Those apartments have insanely fast 100/100 connections. (some of them even have 1gbit connections)

For now I'm stuck with 8/1 Mbit ADSL.

or maybe its the ISPs themselves playing around with their 100Gbps lines from country to country.

sadly this is the best speed i can get from this company, without having to suffer with a 200GB per month "fair-use" limit. I would like better upload

Do I win?

No, check out some of the speeds the Europeans have. It's unfair. I'm guessing that's NOT in your dorms?

My speed here sucks, but one of my friends goes else where and gets 100D and 80U.

It makes me really upset.

I would picture, but I can't find it now so I won't, take it as a lie if you want.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.
