I pay $49.99 a month for this (well actually more since I also have to pay for vpn service because they block all p2p sites including this one) but it's the only service in this building. Pretty infuriating considering 2 miles away they have cox cable which for the same price gets you 50mbps

Yeah it was like that with my old ISP back home too. Also, I think it's sad that a 6mb connection is faster than 68% of the USA in 2012

Alas, they're with Sky as well.. Downloading anything bigger than a few hundred megabytes is a pain.

I've changed my ISP (from Romtelecom). Much , much better. It also hits around 120mbps if I use a cable (now I'm on wireless). (I'll post one on cable when I'll get one xD)
