The best manga I've ever read is "Eden - It's an endless world!" by Hiroki Endo. I'm quite astonished that no one has mentioned it by far - complexity of plot, involvement of politics and many flashbacks on main characters make it a real masterpiece! I've just read the 10th and last volume and I'm really impressed by this work - it even slighly beats Masamune Shirow's "Ghost in the Shell" mangas.

Whoo~! Another Banana Fish fan! I try to get my manga-loving friends to read it, but they're all turned off by the art.  Personally, I think it's a nice change from a lot of more current shoujo stuff (I particularly like the way screentones aren't used to excess).

Anyway, it's one of those series that I snatch up the moment it comes in.

Oh, and I really want to read Vinland Saga -- Planetes is one of my favourite series, and I expect that anything else by Makoto Yukimura will be just as good. ;)
