I dunno... I'll just post an actual list of the top anime that I've seen and liked the past 3 months. Some were rewatched others new. I don't think I can compile a all time top ten. No defining order although I am looking forward to Oriemo 2 (April!).

1 - Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki : hard to compete with this ...
2 - Shinsekai yori : that is why i keep watching anime
3 - Mushishi : unique, how can people dare compare it to Natsume Yuujinchou ?
4 - Hotarubi no mori e : "i can finally touch you", piano, heart blown
5 - Maison Ikkoku : still looking for a better romance ...
6 - Kurenai no Buta : watched it around ~100 times, and FOR ONCE in history, french version was the best of all
7 - Usagi drop : short, simple plot, simple char designs, basic animation, and yet so great. Guess why ?

8 - Hyouka : romance-less romance, i like it !
9 - NHK ni Youkoso : how to deal seriously with serious stuff
10 - Juubee Ninpuuchou : best ninjanime with short, original and intense fights all film long

Yes. I'm mixing shows and movies.

It's actually so ironic that after rewatching FMA it's again my second best. When I watched it first time back in 2006-7 I though I'll keep it my second favorite after Naruto forever. But look. Naruto dropped. I even quit the anime.. (Still loving Uzumaki Naruto the most tho =P ), while FMA is back their, just this time I doubt I'll ever take it down. Still watching Brotherhood by the way. I'm going to consider those two as one anime.

, but this was mostly on the top of my head, I have now made an Anime list and tried to remember every single show I watched.

But yes I am that kind of guy that loved Upotte and Ben-To a lot, I found HOTD enjoyable but I love the fight of Sato to overcome his lack of money and trying to be a pervert and I like guns so Upotte was a easy hit on me

1. コードギアス反逆のルルーシュR2 (Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch R2) Re-watched 3 times

2. 織田信奈の野望 (Oda Nobuna no Yabou) Rewatched 4 times
-Short 12 episoded anime with no fillers, purely ongoing with action. Very easy to watch.

3. さくら荘のペットな彼女 (Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo) Re-watched once

4. 銀魂 (Gintama)

5. 新世界より (Shinsekai Yori) Re-watched twice
-Needed to re-watch once to fully grasp the story.

6. CLANNAD AFTER STORY Re-watched once

7. 起動戦士ガンダムSEED (Mobile Suits Gundam SEED) Re-watched once

Oda Nobuna is a great show, but I wouldn't put it in my top 10. Too much fanservice.
Though they did it splendidly and I have hight hopes for second season.
